My career began in education, where I learned to design learning experiences that met my students where they are. In the classroom, that meant using hands-on tools and technology to help students engage, connect, and learn. Additionally, I found a deep purpose in partnering and advocating with the families of my students. Listening closely, simplifying complex moments, and building trust is where I felt most connected to my work. 

A brief detour into front-end engineering gave me new tools to bring ideas to life, but my instincts told me to stay closer to people.

This insight led me to UX and product. Today, I apply the same empathy, creativity, and problem-solving I used as a teacher to create intuitive and harmonious design.
